Hi I’m Donna, a New Yorker washed ashore onto Cape Cod in 2020. Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that I love to host friends and family, make them feel at home. I always say that when someone stays over in your house and you wake up together in your PJs, well that’s when you get to know someone, like it or not!

Sweet Retreat came about as a dream of hosting guests from all over, wanting to offer the best of Cape Cod. We have been vacationing here for over 30 years and now living here, we know a thing or two and will share everything with you.

I have worked in hospitality and grew up with amazing Italian women who knew how to cook and throw some damn good parties. I most recently worked the corporate life as a Director of Community Affairs, Communications and Engagement. That meant trying to make 400 people feel like they were respected and heard with a lot of fun thrown in that couldn’t hurt the outcome.

I love Cape Cod air, local food and all things grown. My husband, adult children and little 14-year-old mini-Daeshun’d keep me grounded.
